We have made few changes to where things are in our Carnival Village due to the recent flooding that happened after our brochure had gone to press. Unfortunately a small amount of debris remains in the area to the north of the hard-standing between the Grandstand and Swan Theatre, however the rest of the site is now clean and dry. An updated site map is below.
There will be many great attractions for all the family at the Carnival Village. The funfair this year includes teacups, Ferris wheel, racing cars, climbing wall, bucking bronco, inflatable obstacle course and hook-a-duck. These will run from 10am until the parade sets off. Tickets for these are 50p per ride or £5 for an unlimited all-day wristband. These will be available from the ticket kiosk.
Market stalls will provide a great selection of quality food and drink, crafts, and local charities.
The Main Stage will have live entertainment running throughout the day following the Carnival Queen Coronation at 10am, with Studio B, Tobi Colston, All Sorts Performing Arts, Mitzy, Jestar, Demi De Lord, Lollipop Theatre, Beat Breakerz and Worcester School of Dance before the Parade, with headline act 5:15 upon the Parade’s return.
Judging of the floats will begin at 1:30pm, before the Parade sets off at 3pm.
