In case you haven’t already, make a date in your diaries – Worcester Carnival returns this year on Saturday 6th July 2019 with the parade starting from 3pm from Pitchcroft. This year’s parade theme is “books” and we’re looking forward to a world of imagination from floats and walking groups. We’ve got plenty of info up on our website so do please take a look around, and you can always get in touch with us using the contact forms.
To keep up to date, check back here regularly, or why not follow us on Facebook and Twitter – details should be on the right of the screen. We’ll be appearing in plenty of local press, too – here are recent articles from Worcester News and Worcestershire Hour:
We are also now able to announce that this year’s nominated charities are Worcester Snoezelen, which provides multi sensory leisure therapy for people with disabilities and additional needs, and West Mercia Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre which provides free support services to victims including a telephone helpline, counselling, training and education both to children and schools. To find out how you can help us support the work of these local charities please take a look at our Fundraising pages.
