A Carnival for Future Generations

Our aim is to make Worcester Carnival a pioneer in finding new ways to deliver a carnival in the 21st century. In 2023 we will create an ambitious, sustainable addition to the city’s carnival infrastructure as a platform for diverse
community voices, building on a 2022 pilot project.

Three hand-propelled vehicles have been constructed for Worcester Carnival by 101 Creation Space and decorated by Spare Room Arts working with The Monday Night Club, Mark Riley-Creative States working with Worcester Afro-Caribbean Association, and Complex Simplicity working with Honeywell Primary School.
